Medical examinations for fire fighters
In order to be able to provide fire service and to meet the associated requirements, the members of the fire brigade (AdF) must be in good physical and mental health. In particular, the respiratory protection equipment wearers (ASGT) are exposed to maximum loads (physically heavy work, heat, stress) and must therefore be examined for their health and tested with regard to their physical performance according to stricter guidelines. Based on many years of experience in the assessment of AdF in connection with regular active work in a larger company fire brigade, we have the necessary know-how for this. As a recognized medical officer of the Basel-Landschaft motor vehicle control agency, we are also authorized to carry out examinations of drivers of category C or C1 heavy motor vehicles in accordance with the examination intervals specified by the Road Traffic Office.
