Level 1 - Medical fitness certificate for drivers (Medical examination for MFK)
All persons who acquire or hold a Swiss driver's or driving instructor license must register in accordance with the statutory provisions (Art. 7, 11a, 11b, 27 and 65 of the Ordinance on the Admission of Persons and Vehicles to Road Traffic [VZV, SR 741.51]) undergo a medical examination.

With us, as a recognized traffic medical examination center for levels 1 to 4, you can have the medical aptitude test carried out quickly and easily. The examination lasts approximately 45 minutes and includes the following elements:
- Collection of medical history
- Physical examination
- urine status
- eye exam
Please bring the following documents with you to the examination appointment:
- Order of the road traffic authority
- Identity card
- Completed medical questionnaire - StVA/MFK (Bring signed original - do not send by e-mail!)
- Glasses passport or last glasses prescription (if you have to wear corrective lenses)
Please remember that you will have to give us a urine sample and should therefore not go to the toilet just before the appointment.
Finally, an important note:
According to the requirements of the Basel-Landschaft road traffic authority (MFK), when transferring a foreign driver's license, the medical examination may only be carried out after the application has been submitted to the authority.
